We have all seen depictions of the signing of the Declaration of Independence where the founding fathers all gathered for the great event.
There is one small problem and that is this event as depicted never took place. The real truth is most of them signed on or around august 2nd. Like many historical events these concepts get passed down through the generations and become fact. One of the important things to remember about the founding fathers is they lived in a world that transportation was so much more difficult than today.
